Focus:
Provide communications and community support in an effort to proactively enhance and protect the reputation and business needs.
Supervisor: CEO and/or CEO Assistant
Role:
Contact corporates, other organizations, talk to media.
Developing and executing communications strategies to help advance key initiatives.
Shaping our message and telling our story to increase the impact of ROLDA’s work.
Developing and maintaining a media relations program; maintains and updates the plan for addressing emerging critical public relations and project-related issues.
Establishes and implements short and long term organizational goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
Coordinates surveys and assessments, both internally and externally, to determine the effectiveness of public relations and marketing activities.
Recommends and participates in the development of department policies and procedures; and may serve on planning and policy-making committees.
Responsible for developing a communication strategy ensuring that all communications align with Strategic Plan.
Experience/Requirements:
Pleasant presence, intelligent, well connected who may have worked for large corporations.
Knowledge about the world in the show business area.
Align with our policy, the messages we send, our vision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop and share new and creative ideas.
A commitment to working in ways that support and encourage diversity, equity and inclusion.
Proven experience in project management, multi-tasking and working on a deadline.
Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including availability to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
