Organize and promote participation in local education or training opportunities.
Supervisor: CEO and/or CEO Assistant
Engage with individuals and community groups, such as residents’ associations, parents’ groups and young people.
Identify local interests and needs and ways to meet them.
Planning educational programmes.
Establishing new community initiatives.
Liaising with relevant community groups and organisations.
Distributes coloring books to schools and kindergartens in poor communities.
Gives speeches in schools and kindergartens.
Writing plans and reports.
Undertaking outreach work to encourage more people to participate.
Develops and maintains education programs and supports to children, schools, carers and/or families.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to relate to, motivate and empathise with a range of people from different backgrounds and the capacity to create and lead groups.
A mature, confident, patient and resilient disposition.
Ability to undertake education related projects and planning initiatives.
Good communication, consultation and negotiation skills in order to effectivelyengage internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated understanding of working and liaising with schooling and alternative education program environments is a plus.
