Welcome to ROLDA!

Thank you for your interest in joining the ROLDA volunteer team! Our mission drives us to transform the lives of animals in need. We care for the homeless, abused, malnourished, or abandoned animals of Romania and Ukraine. With unwavering dedication and a commitment to using our limited resources responsibly, efficiently and transparently, we strive to make a more significant impact year after year. Together, we can create a brighter future for animals in need!

A little about us…

The best bits about volunteering for ROLDA:

  • We are a small team spread worldwide, including the US, UK, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Switzerland, and, of course, Romania.
  • We push as much funding as possible into the shelters and rescue where animals need us the most. Therefore, we choose not to have large marketing, PR, HR, or legal departments. This means we need volunteers to help us with day-to-day activities and one-off, more specialized, short- and long-term projects.
  • Consequently, we have many tasks to accomplish, both big and small! By volunteering at ROLDA, you can make a HUGE impact on the lives of animals in Romania but also in Australia (where you will see we already have a number of programs in development).

A little about you…

Do you have the following attributes?

  • Self-motivated but also able to work as a team.
  • Dedicated – we need people who are looking to make a long-lasting difference!
  • Eager to take initiative.
  • Flexible – so needed when volunteering and work with a small team.

Whether you’re experienced in administration, IT, social media, project management, fundraising, web and graphic design, or customer service, we welcome volunteers of all expertise levels. Your distinct talents are exactly what we need to make a significant and everlasting change.

Why Volunteer with ROLDA?
