Grant Researcher Volunteer

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify Funding Opportunities: Research and identify potential trusts and foundations to approach for funding, with a focus on finding the best matches for ROLDA’s mission and needs.
- Craft Impactful Proposals: Write compelling, accurate grant applications of varying sizes to help generate a consistent income stream that fuels our projects and programs.
- Report & Showcase Impact: Work with our team to support timely data, stories and other materials for reports and impact summaries to showcase our work, fulfilling grant requirements.
Skills required:
- Proven experience in preparing successful grant applications for nonprofits.
- Knowledge of the grant funding landscape, particularly within animal welfare, and understanding of trusts and foundations’ requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong collaborative and organisational skills to work with the ROLDA team.
Time Commitment:
- Flexible hours, with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week.
