Public Relations Volunteer
ROLDA is seeking a Public Relations expert to join our team and assist with communications, media relations, and community support. This position will play a vital role in enhancing ROLDA’s public image and advancing key initiatives related to animal welfare.
Your role:
- Media Relations: Act as the support contact for corporates, organisations, and media outlets, ensuring that ROLDA’s message is conveyed effectively.
- Strategic Communication: Develop and propose communications strategies to advance key initiatives and enhance ROLDA’s reputation.
- Storytelling: Contribute to ROLDA’s story to amplify the impact of our work in animal welfare.
- Public Relations Management: Build connections with media and relevant organisations, managing emerging issues related to ROLDA’s projects.
- Goal Setting & Implementation: Establish short- and long-term goals, policies to guide public relations efforts.
- Surveys & Assessments: Coordinate approved surveys and assessments internally and externally to evaluate the effectiveness of public relations and marketing activities.
- Communication Strategy: Ensure alignment of all communications with ROLDA’s strategic goals.
Key Skills:
- Experience: Proven experience in public affairs, communications, or media relations, ideally with knowledge of the entertainment or corporate sectors.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop creative ideas and share them effectively.
- Diversity & Inclusion: A commitment to working in ways that support diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Project Management: Experience in managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Time Commitment:
- Flexible hours, with a minimum commitment of 5 hours per week.
