Behind every dog rescued from a Romanian roadside, and every animal pulled from a warzone in Ukraine, is a team of people working quietly behind the scenes to make sure the funding is there to help them. As a Fundraising Champion, you’d be part of that team, using your skills and experience to strengthen ROLDA’s fundraising efforts.
This is a remote volunteer role, perfect for someone who’s passionate about animal welfare, ideally has some fundraising experience, and is comfortable working independently to deliver real, practical support.

As a Fundraising Champion, you’ll provide behind-the-scenes support to ROLDA’s fundraising work through clearly scoped, task-based assignments supporting our staff’s capacity so we can reach more animals, more often. You’ll be supported by your Volunteer Coordinator and the role is built around flexibility and independence. To guide you, we will provide clear, written instructions for you to turn them into practical outcomes, on your own schedule.

What This Role Involves:

• As a Fundraising Champion, you’ll work behind the scenes to strengthen ROLDA’s fundraising efforts, including supporting the development of fundraising campaigns, researching and identifying prospective corporate partners, keeping our data and records accurate, supporting local community fundraisers and turning any other clear, written instructions into practical, well-organised outputs. It’s a role built around dependable, task-based support but is much more powerful as you will be providing opportunities for ROLDA to seek more support to enable the important work to continue.
• We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable working independently, pays close attention to detail, and can be relied on to follow instructions and deliver as needed. Some background in fundraising, research, or admin work is helpful, but a genuine passion for animal welfare and a steady, reliable approach matters just as much.
