Ways to Get Involved

Organise a Fundraiser

Host a community or corporate event to raise funds for ROLDA. From bake sales and sponsored walks to virtual events, every fundraising effort directly impacts the lives of animals we rescue. Get creative and involve your friends, family, and neighbors to make a bigger impact!
Here are few examples of fundraising events:

  • Bake sales or community fairs
  • Online crowdfunding campaigns

Other ideas

If you work with a corporation, you can use tools like Benevity to ask your employees to match your gift.

You can nominate ROLDA as Charity of the Year if the company you work for organizes such things. Usually, this comes with a donation made to the winning charity, but please keep in mind that raising awareness about ROLDA is equally important.

On platforms like Teaming, your friends can be asked to give micro-donations (as little as 1 E/month) to support the ROLDA cause. You don’t need to be extra skilled or a fundraising guru to make a difference for animals that you care about.

Write letters to businesses that actively support animal or environmental projects. If you enjoy searching, the internet offers plenty of resources. If you work for such a company or know someone – please invite them to come and discover our work in Romania.

Grant writing is a job itself where writing from heart might be exactly what it needs for your letter to be approved from a pile of others. Same goes if you like to write articles online or in printed magazines or newspapers – your touching message will open the readers minds about ROLDA hard work in Romania and other places where animals have no one else, where nothing comes for granted.

If you work in show biz industry, if you know influencers who can help ROLDA grow, contact them and give it a try. Be prepared to hear 100 “no” s before the magical Yes, but maybe that will make it even more special?

If you sale products or services, consider donating a percentage to our cause and choose where your aid will be used: to pay veterinary bills, to help pets from poor communities, to help seniors with pets, or buy food for animals in Romania or Ukraine, or maybe join us building PawzUp center, a unique project that every company will be proud to be linked to.
