Swiss Events Outreach initiative
ROLDA is seeking proactive volunteers to support our Swiss Events Outreach initiative by researching and identifying events where the association could raise awareness, build partnerships, and promote animal welfare. This role will help expand ROLDA’s visibility in Switzerland while creating opportunities to engage with the public and potential supporters.
What You’ll Do
- Event Research: Identify relevant events, fairs, festivals, and community gatherings across Switzerland where ROLDA could have a meaningful presence.
- Opportunity Assessment: Evaluate each event by reviewing visitor numbers, audience profile, and overall relevance to determine whether participation would be beneficial.
- Organizer Outreach: Contact event organizers to gather information about participation opportunities, booth availability, and registration requirements.
- Partnership Negotiation: Inquire about reduced or preferential rates for nonprofit associations and explore potential collaboration opportunities.
- Logistics Planning: Help secure participation by reserving or blocking booth spaces early, particularly for high-visibility locations within event venues.
- Documentation & Reporting: Compile clear summaries of potential events, including key dates, costs, requirements, and expected visitor traffic.
- Creative Event Preparation: Depending on the type of event or festival, suggest ideas for themed accessories, materials, or promotional items that ROLDA could prepare or order in advance to align with the event atmosphere.

- Communication Skills: Confidence in contacting organizers and representing ROLDA in a professional manner.
- Organisation & Attention to Detail: Ability to track event opportunities, deadlines, and requirements.

- Creativity: Interest in proposing ideas for engaging booth displays or themed materials that attract visitors.
