Research and Grant Application Volunteer
To support ROLDA Australia by identifying and assessing suitable grant opportunities and assisting in the preparation of internal grant summaries. The role helps strengthen ROLDA’s funding base for animal welfare and community programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify relevant grant programs offered by government, corporate, and philanthropic organisations.
- Review eligibility criteria and determine suitability for ROLDA’s programs.
- Prepare concise internal grant summaries and draft supporting notes for review.
- Maintain the shared grant tracker with up-to-date deadlines and submission status.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in grant writing, funding research, or non-profit project submissions.
- Strong written communication and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Excel or Google Sheets for record-keeping.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet agreed timeframes.
- Understanding of confidentiality and compliance when handling organisational information.
