Home Checker
ROLDA is looking for dedicated Home Checkers to ensure potential adopters provide safe and suitable homes for Romanian rescue dogs. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about animal welfare, with an eye for detail and strong communication skills.
Your Role
- Conduct Home Checks: Use online webcam technology to assess the homes of potential adopters, ensuring they meet ROLDA’s safety and suitability standards for dogs.
- Visual Assessments: Review the physical environment to verify it is secure and appropriate for a rescue dog.
- Complete Reports: Fill out a detailed home check form and submit it to the CEO promptly.
- Follow-Up Checks: Conduct follow-up calls or webcam meetings to ask additional questions or confirm further details about the home and adopter’s preparedness.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in Animal Rescue: Prior experience as a home checker for a dog rescue charity is preferred but not essential.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to ask insightful and probing questions to thoroughly evaluate potential adopters.
- Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using MS Word to complete and email forms to the CEO.
- Detail-Oriented: A careful and methodical approach to ensure all necessary criteria are assessed.
